Hello Tracey Well done setting up a new NW scheme. I'm an OurWatch Membership Support Administrator (MSA) for the Association of Dorset Watches (ADW) https://adw.watch/ Dorset Police have asked that new schemes are visited by an ADW MSA, to approve the scheme, following which Dorset Police will confirm the scheme. However, before we can do that, please can we ask that the name of your NW scheme be changed. While the issue motivating the start of the scheme is ASB, this is only a small aspect of what Neighbourhood Watch is about and scheme names are generally named after the place name rather than the issue. If you still want to go ahead, please can you re apply with a new name, such as Terrace Road Neighbourhood Watch. When you do that the system will alert me and I'll be in touch again to get your scheme approved and Police confirmed. Have you asked your neighbours to sign up for Neighbourhood Watch so that they can join Terrace Road Neighbourhood Watch? They can do that by visiting https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/joinNW or Do you have / are you planning to set up a WhatsApp group for Terrace Road Neighbourhood Watch? If not already done a simple way to get your neighbours on board is to make up a flyer about Terrace Road Neighbourhood Watch, including the above links and asking people to text you their name, house number and mobile number so you can add them to the WhatsApp group.
